Ex-Fordyce lawman guilty in wife’s killing

EL DORADO — A jury convicted former Fordyce Police Chief Paul Douglas Gill on Thursday of murdering his wife of 16 years, rejecting the notion that she committed suicide in their Fordyce home while he was at work.
